Casale Trifoglio was founded in Campotenese, in the municipality of Morano Calabro, in 1950 as a holiday home for a well-known family from Mormanno. It later became the home of the State Forestry Corps in Cavallo. It is located two minutes from the Salerno Reggio Calabria motorway exit and a few minutes from the parks’ cycle path and the start of the hiking trail. The family spent their holidays in the upper rooms, while the rooms below were used for agricultural work and to store equipment and food supplies. The farmhouse is built of limestone typical of the Pollino National Park and is surrounded by a large 3,000 m2 garden with lush maples, firs, and cherry trees. Today, this splendid residence shines with new splendor as an elegant B&B, completely renovated and made comfortable by the numerous available services, furnished with a minimalist style and bright colors that personalize each room. The completely fenced surrounding forest offers its tourists safety and tranquility, and the surrounding area hosts a large relaxation area, with hammocks, swings, and a space equipped for picnics and children’s games.
